Gallery Espas is hosting new works by Ahmet Sarı, who plays games with colors and figures while creating movement on canvas.
In Sarı’s images, an individual self is never happy, but is rather an injured, fatigued, depressed and even desperate subject powerlessly lost in the jungle of society.
He draws animals in different figures and shows them in a different world than the jungle or forest.
With his new works, he refers to the perception of human representation and prefers to use lots of materials in his drawings, which use materials such as chromium, steel cable, copper, metal and aluminum.
In between hot and cold, Sarı finds himself responsible for the dimensions between tradition and alternation. Sarı indicates the calculations that are wheeling around his head that include indistinct clues of transition from animal forms to human ones.
In essence, “Sympathetic Representation” is an unofficial dressing parade of fragile iconic images.
